The PUSC 1st Plenary Meeting has been Conducted Successfully
Cikarang, November 5, 2024 - On Monday, November 4, 2024, the President University Student Council (PUSC) conducted its first Plenary Meeting in Building B room B-204 at President University. The Plenary Meeting is a monthly meeting aimed at discussing targets, performance, and achievements by all PUSC Commissions, the Internal Bureau since the inauguration. This meeting was attended by all members from PUSC 2025.
The meeting began with an opening speech from Alif Elang Abhipraya, the Chairperson of PUSC 2025, followed by a reading of the meeting’s rules and regulations. The meeting was continued with the agenda of singing the Indonesia Raya and Mars President University by all attendees. Afterward, each Commission and the Internal Bureau presented their tentative work plans.
During the presentations, Commission I outlined its functions and target achievements. They described their role as researchers tasked with analyzing issues at President University , and explained the activities they plan to conduct during this term. The first activity, Comparative Study, involves PUSC members observing student council systems at other universities. The second activity named Innovative Research Week (INNOVERSE) is an activity intended for high school students from Cikarang, and the surrounding Jabodetabek area.
Afterward, Commission II as Mediator explained the function of its division, and also the target achievements that had been made. Moreover, Commission II also presented that they would continue to conduct Pay Attention which aims to collect aspirations by all President University students. Additionally, they presented and explained about the "Voice It Out" program, an interview series with students to gather input on campus and dormitory matters. Lastly, they introduced "TYPO (Type It Out)," a new strategy allowing students to submit suggestions and feedback through the PUSC official website.
Thirdly, Commission III as legislators which focuses on the rules and decisions set by PUSC by including General Elections, Internal Functions, Supervising PUSB Events, and rules and regulations for President University Faculty Association (PUFA) and also President University Major Association (PUMA). The rules and regulations for PUFA and PUMA will be discussed later in a PUSC X PUFA and PUSC X PUMA . Lastly, Commission III discussed that they are planning to conduct Judicial Training sessions led by lecturers from President University.
Then, Commission IV presented their achievement targets and work plan for the 2025 period. As supervisors, Commission IV will supervise the activities conducted by PUSB and manage the flow of the Clubs and Communities proposal process to ensure coordination. They are also planning to organize a Supervisor Forum, which will involve PUSC, PUSB Supervisors as well as the Project Manager, and Vice-Project Manager of the event and it intends not only to oversee all events and activities at President University but also to ensure compliance with established rules and regulations.
Then, the Internal Bureau, particularly the Public Relations team, reported that they have completed individual photoshoots for all Commissions, and the Board of Directors of PUSC. The Graphic Designer team has created twibbons for PUSC member and templates design for various PUSC activities, the Web Developer team has successfully updated the PUSC website with the latest content, including published The Grand Inauguration press releases. Additionally, Internal Affairs has celebrated members' birthdays with greetings and surprises at the end of the first Plenary Meeting. The Head of Internal Bureau presented plans to create varsity jackets, and host the PUSC Care and Connect 2024 event.
The presentation concluded with the Board of Directors presentation by announcing the Project Manager and Vice-Project Manager for upcoming activities, including PUSC Care and Connect, PUSC and PUSB Training, President University General Election, PUSC Regeneration, and The Grand Inauguration. In conclusion, the purpose of this Plenary Meeting is aimed to foster strong coordination, and also, to provide clarity on each PUSC division’s work plans, particularly to all PUSC 2025 members, and the meeting was successfully concluded at 21:00 West Indonesia Time.
