4th Plenary Meeting: Progress, Challenges, and Future Goals

Cikarang, January 25, 2025 - On Monday, February 10, 2025, the President University Student Council (PUSC) held its 4th Plenary Meeting at Theater I of the President University Convention Center (PUCC). This annual meeting serves as a platform for reporting, discussing, and evaluating the plans, performance, progress, and challenges faced by all PUSC Commissions and Bureaus throughout the term.

The meeting started with an opening speech from Alif Elang Abhipraya, Chairperson of PUSC 2025, followed by a reading of the meeting’s rules and regulations. The session continued with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the President University Mars. Afterward, each Commission and the Internal Bureau presented their performance reports, objectives, and targets for the upcoming period.

The presentation began with Commission I, which reported on its research preparations, including drafting questionnaires and research planning. Additionally, the commission has initiated communication with relevant university management regarding the research process. To enhance outreach, Commission I, in collaboration with the Internal Bureau, has also created promotional content. Furthermore, they provided updates on the upcoming event, INNOVERSE (Innovative Research Week).

After that, Commission II, as the mediator, highlighted its recent meetings with various university management departments, including the Finance Bureau, Library Bureau, and the Internship & Career Center (ICC). These meetings aimed to address student concerns gathered from the Pay Attention #1. They also shared updates on the progress of the Aspiration Feedback report for the Finance and Library Bureaus. Additionally, Commission II is currently preparing for the next Pay Attention.

After Commission II being presented, Commission III, Legislators from PUSC, presented Decree I which is regarding General Work Plan and Organization Structure which it has been already published through PUSC social media channels, thus, the Decree would serve as a cornerstone of PUSC 2025 for the 2025 working period. During the presentation, they also presented the Decree II regarding the Approval of Events from PUSC to PUSB (President University Student Board), and the Assignation of Supervisor from PUSC to PUSB events. They also presented their next work plans, concerning the preparation for the Decree of PUFA and PUMA, as well as the Constitution and Bylaw (AD/ART) of PUSC 2025.

Commission III presented its progress and future plans, including the completion of drafts for the Suspension and Dismissal Letters. A suspension Letter will be issued in cases of unprofessional behavior within one working period, leading to the removal of the individual’s pin and badge. A Dismissal Letter will be given when the situation becomes intolerable, resulting in the member’s removal from PUSC. The commission also finalized Draft Regulation No. III concerning the PUFA and PUMA Forum.

Commission IV, responsible for supervision, provided updates on various ongoing and upcoming events under the President University Student Board (PUSB) and the PUSC x PUSB Training 2025. They also reported on general programs such as the PM and VPM Training and their regular meetings with Vice-Chairperson I.

The Public Relations team from the Internal Bureau shared their live coverage of PUSC events and corresponding press releases. The Graphic Design team reported on their latest content for PUSC’s Instagram, as well as headers designed for LinkedIn and YouTube. The Web Developer presented the publication of press releases and regular website maintenance. The Internal Affairs division provided updates on the design of the PUSC 2025 magazine and the repairs to the PUSC Office. They also reported progress on PUSC 2025’s varsity initiatives. Lastly, Inaya Chairina, Head of the Internal Bureau, introduced plans for the PUSC Podcast, covering its concept, name selection, theme, and production planning.

The Board of Directors concluded the meeting by outlining ongoing and upcoming work plans. This Plenary Meeting was closed with committees from various upcoming PUSC events, including the President University General Election (PUGE) and Grand Inauguration presented their progress reports.

The 4th Plenary Meeting of PUSC 2025 provided a comprehensive overview of the organization’s progress and goals, ensuring that all teams remain aligned with their commitment to serving the student body and enhancing campus life.
