
GENERAL SUMMIT 2025: A Meeting Convened by the President University Student Council (PUSC) with the President University Student Board (PUSB) for the Purpose of Coordination and Announcement of Work Plans for Each Organization.
President University, December 3, 2024 – In the aftermath of the Grand Inauguration of student organizations, which are PUSC, PUSB, PUFA, PUMA, and CnCs, the President University Student Council conducted a meeting designated as General Summit I in Room A-429, located within President University building A.
The General Summit I is an event that organized in collaboration with the President University Student Board (PUSB), aimed at creating a timeline of events that both organizations. This meeting served as an opportunity for both bodies to strengthen their bond and foster positive relations. There were 36 members present in PUSC, out of which 34 were present and 2 were absent.
The event commenced with a speech by the Chairperson of PUSC, Alif Elang Abhipraya, followed by a presentation of the organizational structure, which includes the Chairperson, Vice-Chairpersons I and II, Internal and External Secretaries, and General Treasurer. Additionally, five divisions from PUSC outlined their respective functions and shared their work plans for the coming year. Alif emphasized that PUSC’s primary goals are to facilitate the regeneration process within the legislative body of President University and to prepare future leaders with strong leadership, commitment, and dedication.
The meeting continued with the introduction of the structure of PUSB, which consists of a President and two Vice Presidents. The PUSB also presented the diverse range of its ministries, to include the Ministry of Cabinet Secretariat that oversees the CnCs Secretary and General Secretary, the Ministry of Finance works for the financial matters including the Treasurer, Accountant, Sponsorship, and President Store; the Ministry of Self-Development focuses Advocacy, Research and Development, Skills, and Knowledge; the Ministry of Student Activity, which involves Art, Sports, Society, and Regular Night; and the Ministry of Communication, involving External Affairs, Internal Affairs, Multimedia, Web Development, and Social Media Specialists. Each ministry also presented its work plans for the following year.
The General Summit provided an in-depth understanding of each organization’s structure, mechanisms, and planned activities. Most importantly, the event created a platform to share visions and strategies for achieving future goals. Both organizations exchanged ideas on upholding the reputation of President University and ensuring the success of their initiatives.
As a result of this meeting, both PUSC and PUSB are expected to schedule their respective work programs to align with the plans and agreements reached during the summit. This joint effort is supposed to help guide the actualization of these events to ensure that they are well-guided and meaningful for the President University community.
