INNOVERSE 2025: Innovate to Elevate, Create to Inspire
Cikarang, May 10, 2025 – The INNOVERSE 2025—short for Innovative Research Week 2025—brought together about 150 university and high school students at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University, in a vibrant celebration of critical thinking, creativity, and communication. Organized by Commission I of the President University Student Council (PUSC), the event lived up to its powerful tagline: “Innovate to Elevate, Create to Inspire.”
The day began with an engaging Research Class segment, featuring five specialized classes led by expert lecturers. These interactive sessions empowered participants to explore academic research methods and collaborative thinking in a real-world context.
Following the morning classes and a short break, the spotlight turned to the event’s main highlight: a talk show with acclaimed journalist and author Leila S. Chudori, author of Laut Bercerita's book. Her session explored themes from her literary research and journalistic career, followed by a lively Q&A and a warm, candid chitchat with the moderator.
“It was memorable, definitely inspiring, fun and I gained so many new insights from Bu Leila,” said Dina Syarifah, an International Relations student at President University, class of 2023. “She gives me a reason to buy a new book every month.”
Dzikri Himawan from SMK Informatika Amanah Bangsa added, “I'm excited because I've gained new connections and experiences. Normally at school, I'm the one who helps my classmates, but here, for the first time, I felt like there were people who were more capable than me—and it motivated me to improve myself so that when I return to INNOVERSE 2026, I’ll be a better version of myself.”
To complement the sessions, INNOVERSE 2025 also featured a Gramedia booth offering curated books and merchandise, and a photo booth where attendees captured their best moments. The event closed on a high note with a flashmob performance by the committee, leaving lasting smiles and a strong sense of community.
With its dynamic blend of research, inspiration, and creativity, INNOVERSE 2025 proved to be a meaningful milestone for youth empowerment and academic growth. As participants left with fresh ideas, deeper motivation, and lasting connections, the excitement for INNOVERSE 2026 has already begun. Commission I of the President University Student Council (PUSC) looks forward to elevating the experience even further in the years to come.
