PUSC 2025 2nd Plenary Meeting: Closing 2024's Book

Cikarang, December 20, 2024 - On Thursday, December 5, 2024, the President University Student Council (PUSC) held its second Plenary Meeting in Room A-428, Building A, at President University. This monthly meeting aimed to discuss organizational targets, performance, and achievements by all PUSC Commissions and the Internal Bureau. Attendance at the meeting was mandatory for all members of PUSC 2025.

The meeting began with an opening speech by Alif Elang Abhipraya, the Chairperson of PUSC 2025, followed by the reading of the meeting’s rules and regulations. The agenda continued with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the Mars President University by all attendees. Subsequently, each Commission and the Internal Bureau presented their tentative work plans.

Commission I presented their upcoming events, starting with Campus Compass, which will be held this month. They also elaborated on their role as researchers tasked with analyzing issues at President University. Another planned activity is Innovative Research Week (INNOVERSE), for which committee recruitment is already open. This event is scheduled for May 2025.

Commission II, the Mediator, reported on the successful implementation of PAY ATTENTION #1, a program designed to collect aspirations from all President University students. They opened their booth on the first floor of Building B. To further enhance the program, they plan to conduct a "Door-to-Door" campaign to increase the quantity of collected feedback.

Commission III, which focuses on drafting rules and decrees, reported conducting three judicial training sessions with lecturers from the Law faculty. These training sessions equip members with essential skills to fulfill their role as legislators. Additionally, they have produced several legal documents, including regulations for Plenary Meetings, a framework for PUSC supervisors, and a template for PUSC 2025 warning letters.

Commission IV, as Supervisors, shared their collaboration with Commission III to finalize regulations for supervising PUSB activities. They also manage the flow of Clubs and Communities proposal processes to ensure proper coordination. In November, Commission IV conducted training sessions with advisors and former members of PUSC 2024 to strengthen their supervisory function.

The Internal Bureau provided updates across its teams. The Public Relations team reported on creating and publishing broadcasts about PUSC activities and needs. They also produced live reports for transparency and uploaded content and work plans from all Commissions. Meanwhile, the Graphic Designers team designed materials for PUSC's Instagram feed, including Pay Attention #1 posters, regulations, decrees, and greetings for special occasions. The Web Developer team highlighted their regular maintenance of the PUSC website, including publishing press releases and updating the aspirations and regulations sections. Internal Affairs celebrated members' birthdays with greetings and surprises and is currently working on a PUSC 2025 wall magazine. Additionally, the Internal Bureau highlighted the success of the PUSC Care and Connect event, held over two days.

The meeting concluded with a presentation from the Board of Directors. Members and divisions of PUSC received appreciation from the Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons I & II. Vice Chairperson I also introduced the upcoming PUSC PUSB Training, scheduled for January 2025.

In summary, this Plenary Meeting aimed to foster strong coordination and provide clarity on each PUSC division’s work plans, particularly for all PUSC 2025 members.
