PUSC CAMPUS COMPASS 2024: Strengthening Inter-Organizational Ties Through Collaborative Learning
Bakrie University - Jakarta, December 14th, 2024 - The President University Student Council (PUSC) successfully held its annual Campus Compass with Bakrie University Senate, highlighting the dedication to growth and collaboration. This event was held on Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at Bakrie University. The organizations from both universities shared their knowledge to strengthen relationships and gain new perspectives.
Campus Compass begins with a warm opening speech by Colleen, the Project Manager of the event. She welcomed everyone and expressed her appreciation for the successful event. “This event reflects the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who made this day possible,” she shared.
Chairperson of Bakrie University Senate, Ni Putu Indah Junita Lestari, continued with her encouraging speech. She welcomed the PUSC 2025 members with enthusiasm and talked about the importance of collaborative learning. “It’s such a great honour to have you here with us. This is a great experience for us all to be able to exchange ideas and learn from each other.” She stated, with excitement, setting inspiration for the day.
The highlight of Campus Compass was the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), where all the members from both organizations gather together in each of their divisions to share and explore the different roles and responsibilities. Exchanging aspirations, discussing challenges, and sharing tips on managing each division effectively, was a part of the interactive session. The open discussion gave valuable insights and helped strengthen the bond between PUSC and Bakrie University Senate.
Campus Compass also included a tour around Bakrie University. This gave PUSC a chance to explore the university’s facilities and campus culture. The tour was entertaining and it was a great way to connect beyond formal discussions.
Not only the guided campus tour, Campus Compass also concluded the event with fun games that emphasized teamwork. All the members of PUSC and Bakrie University Senate joined the fun session with enthusiasm, creating memorable moments. This experience deepened the bond between both organizations.
This Campus Compass was not only about learning new things but also about building meaningful connections and broadening our perspectives. Reflecting on the success of the event that day, PUSC is committed to fostering collaborations with other universities in the future.
