PUSC Care and Connect 2024: Inspiring Young Minds through a Self-Development Seminar

Cikarang, November 30th, 2024 – PUSC Care and Connect 2024 was a two-day event that reflected the spirit and enthusiasm for self-development. On the first day, the event focused on a self-development seminar to inspire and equip students with tools for personal growth and self-awareness.

As part of President University's 16th-anniversary celebration, PUSC hosted this event to encourage young learners. The event, held at the Liliana Library in Cikarang, welcomed 35 students from over 8 schools ranging from kindergarten to high school.

This seminar began with an opening speech from the Vice Project Manager, Ahmad Fikri Alfatah, followed by a speech from Aini Firdaus, representative of the Liliana Library. Both speakers talked about the importance of self-development in shaping the minds of the young ones.

It was a day filled with laughter and excitement as students participated in the activities and fun English games such as picture quiz, conversational practice, and many more. It was such a heartwarming thing to see the smiles on their faces as they learned.

The highlight of the seminar was a session led by Nadya Carissa Rinaldi, the Head of Commission III. Nadya emphasized that a crucial step in preparing for the future is through self-development. This process begins with self-awareness, the first step in enhancing our confidence and understanding our strengths and weaknesses. Next, continuous learning is essential to remain relevant in a constantly changing world. This can be achieved through reading, taking classes, and interacting with others. Finally, establishing life goals helps us stay motivated and focused on long-term objectives by providing clear direction. By understanding our interests and talents, we can shape our career goals and choose suitable college majors.

At the end of the session, Aini Firdaus shared her thoughts with the PUSC family and appreciated all the members for the seminar. "Thank you for coming and joining us today," said Aini as she smiled.
