PUSC COMPARATIVE STUDY 2024: Building and Nurturing Strong Relationships Through Comparative Study
Universitas Pelita Harapan - Lippo Village, May 4th, 2024 - The President University Student Council (PUSC) has just conducted a comparative study with the Majelis Perwakilan Mahasiswa of Universitas Pelita Harapan Lippo Village (MPM UPH-LV), on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The comparative study aimed to create and maintain a good relationship between PUSC and MPH UPH-LV. The activity was executed smoothly and resulted in good benefits for both organizations.
After a successful INNOVERSE event, Commission I (Research and Development) continued to conduct one of its work plans, which is a Comparative Study with the Student Council or other legislative organizations from different universities. This year, PUSC conducted a comparative study with the Majelis Perwakilan Mahasiswa of Universitas Pelita Harapan. Through this activity, PUSC can compare how legislative organizations from other universities function so that it can be a reflection for PUSC to become an excellent legislative organization. In addition, PUSC can also create and nurture oustanding relationships with legislative organizations in other universities.
The President of MPM UPH, Evan Sihombing, hoped that through this Comparative Study, MPM UPH-LV can learn more about how a legislative organization should work, in addition to the challenges faced in the transition period of online classes to offline classes after COVID-19, "I am delighted that PUSC is willing to come to UPH-LV for the comparative study, I hope we (MPM UPH-LV) can learn more since we are just in the transition period of online classes to offline classes after covid-19" he explained.
The 2024 Comparative Study activity was conducted with high enthusiasm from both organizations. Plus, the agenda was not only related to the presentation of each commission of each organization but there was a Forum Group Discussion (FGD), which aimed to get to know more deeply between commissions, as well as game sessions that train cohesiveness and further unite the relationship of participants.
"The part that I like the most during this comparative study is the FGD because during the FGD, we can talk about our experiences while being part of the campus organization, and during the FGD, we can also have a chance to bond," said AC External MPH UPH-LV, Amelia Hong.
In the future, PUSC hopes to establish more solid relationships and collaborate with legislative organizations from other universities. Through this Comparative Study activity, PUSC insists on being able to manifest the highest legislative organization at President University to ensure prosperity for all students.
