GENERAL SUMMIT 2024: A Meeting Held by President University Student Council (PUSC) With President University Student Board (PUSB) for the Introduction and Work Plans Announcement of Each Organization.

President University, December 12, 2023 – After the Grand Inauguration of the student organization (PUSC, PUSB, PUFA, PUMA, and CnC), President University Student Council (PUSC) conducted a meeting called the General Summit I at Theater Room 1 and 2 (Second Floor) in President University Convention Centre (PUCC).

The General Summit I is an event with the President University Student Board (PUSB) to coordinate the timeline of the events that will be held by PUSC and PUSB, along with the information on the budgeting plan for every event that PUSB will hold. This meeting also became the bonding of both organizations to create a good and harmonious relationship. Additionally, the meeting was attended by Student Affairs and International Office Staff. The speech of Mr. Donald as a Student Affairs stated that all events will be conducted until September only because the second-year members of both organizations will do the mobility programs, internships, and other streams.

After the speech by Mr. Donald, the General Summit continued the introduction of PUSC, which consists of the Chairperson, Vice Chairperson I and II, Internal and External Secretary, Internal and External Treasurer, Commission I until Commission IV, and Internal Bureau along with the functions and work plans of each Commission and Internal Bureau.

PUSB also introduced its structure, which consists of a President and two Vice Presidents, a Ministry of Cabinet Secretary (CnC Secretary and General Secretary), a Ministry of Finance (Treasurer, Accountant, Sponsorship and President Store), a Ministry of Self Development (Advocation, Research and Development, Skill and Knowledge), Ministry of Student Activity (Art, Sport, Society and Regular Night), Ministry of Communication (External Affairs, Internal Affairs, Multimedia, Web-Developer and Social Media Specialist) along with the work plans of each Ministry.

This meeting has created a deeper understanding for both PUSC and PUSB, allowing each organization to better understand what is inside the organization, such as the structure, functions, and events that both organizations will organize. Additionally, this event serves as a platform for both organizations to exchange ideas about the steps to be taken in the future, how to implement them, and the strategies these two organizations will employ to maintain the integrity of the organization and President University.

From this event, it is expected that both organizations can organize work programs following plans made and agreed upon by both organizations so that these events can be well-directed.
