PAY ATTENTION: Commission II (Aspiration and Mediation Commission) of President University Student Council (PUSC) conducted a program to collect aspirations and questions from PresUnivers to President University campus and dormitory management.
President University, December 20, 2023 – In the first Plenary Meeting of PUSC 2024 at Theater room 3 (second floor) in President University Convention Center (PUCC), Commission II proposed a work program called Pay Attention that stands for PUSC Asks Your Aspirations and Questions. The primary purpose of this program is to collect aspirations from President University students, which will be given to the campus and dormitory management.
The Plenary Meeting is a monthly meeting held by PUSC to discuss performance reports and a timeline of activities and events that will be held in the future. This meeting is an essential meeting that all PUSC members must attend. In this meeting, the Board of Directors, Commissions I, II, III, IV, and the Internal Bureau present their work plans and reports, such as work programs they will create or events they will hold. In this meeting, Commission II of PUSC proposed a Pay Attention program to accommodate aspirations and questions from all President University students.
Pay Attention is a program that collects the aspirations of President University students. Aspirations are gathered through a Google Form distributed via PUSC's Instagram Story and various student WhatsApp groups such as President University Collaboration, PUFA, PUMA, and CnC. Commission II aims to collect responses from 200 individuals for this program. An information booth also has been set up on the first floor of Building B at President University to promote the program. The booth provides students with information on how to fill out the form and other related aspects of the process of the Pay Attention program. In addition, they also distributed leaflets in various areas of the campus.
The process flow of Pay Attention involves collecting student aspirations and questions through Google Forms, analyzing them using the Aspiration Report, and presenting the report to campus and dormitory management. According to Commission II, the current timeline for Pay Attention is as follows:
- 1. Student aspirations and questions have been collected from December 1st to 20th, 2023.
- 2. The processing of student aspirations and questions through the Aspiration Report will commence from late December 2023 to early January 2024.
- 3. The report will be submitted and presented to the campus and dormitory management in January 2024 as the final step.
Commission II also announced that this program will be implemented three times, in early December 2023, late February 2024, and April 2024 after the semester break.
This program is expected to be a means of communication for President University students to convey aspirations, questions, and criticism to the campus. With this program, it is hoped that all aspirations can be noted to improve the campus and develop in the future.
