PUSC Care and Connect 2024: STEP FORWARDS, STAY CONNECTED
Cikarang, December 1st, 2024 – The PUSC Care and Connect 2024 event brought members of PUSC 2025 and former members of PUSC together in a day full of memories. The second day was a day of bonding as a family and was held at the Wouw Caffe, Jababeka Golf and Country Club, to celebrate the 16th anniversary of PUSC with joy and excitement.
This year's Care and Connect tagline is "Step Forwards, Stay Connected," which symbolizes the PUSC's dedication to continue to move forward while staying united. There were a total of 50 participants, including current and former members, that attended the gathering, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.
During the special occasion, there was a sharing session, and the two distinguished speakers were Alicia Pingkan South, Chairperson of PUSC 2023 and Lodri Sinaga, Chairperson of PUSC 2024. They both inspired everyone by sharing their stories, experiences and advice, making the evening not just informative but also strongly motivating.
"Take the opportunity and make the best out of it because it will be the only time you can do something like this," said Alicia as a reminder to all members to embrace their roles in PUSC. She added, "Stepping out of our comfort zone is the key to growth and learning." Lodri also added his thoughts about the importance of teamwork and resilience in achieving success as an organization. He also shared about time management tips, to reflect on the challenges of balancing responsibilities within PUSC.
The theme of the event was "Profession" where all the members dressed in professional outfits. It was surprising seeing everyone come up with creative ideas for their outfits and how much effort that was put into this. The color scheme was red and gold, which was an inspiration by the PUSC's iconic logo, giving elegance to the venue and sharing the symbol of determination and excellence.
The event wasn't just about listening and learning something from the guest speakers but performances by the PUSC's divisions including the former member, which made it the highlight of the event. There was also a game session which was filled with so much joy and laughter. Every interaction and session reflected the strong bond in the PUSC family. This will remain a valuable memory. Last but not least, the short speech by the Project Manager of PUSC Care and Connect 2024, Inaya Chairina: "I'm truly impressed by how the event was organized. The venue, the theme, and the overall concept is just amazing. Thank you everyone for all the hard work!".
PUSC is committed to bringing a sense of empathy and building a positive impact on the surrounding environment. Through events like Care and Connect, PUSC continues to strengthen the unity, building the full potential of individuals as one community within the President University.
