PUSC 4th Plenary Meeting: Evaluating Progress, Ensuring Transparency
Cikarang, January 20, 2026 - On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the President University Student Council (PUSC) 2026 held its fourth Plenary Meeting at room A429, Building A, President University. This Plenary Meeting aimed to ensure that every work progress was on track and identify the obstacles faced by the Board of Directors, each Commission, and the Internal Bureau.
The meeting began with an opening statement delivered by Ms. Bilqis Aisya Nuri, the Chairperson of PUSC 2026, followed by the reading of the rules and regulations, led by the praying session. The agenda continued with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the President University March by all participants. Afterward, the Board of Directors, each Commission, and the Internal Bureau presented their work progress.
The Internal Bureau started with an update from its Public Relations sub-bureau, which is currently working on creating the table content for the February-March period and PUSC Video Profile. Meanwhile, the Graphic Designer sub-bureau is preparing the designs for the Pre-Enactment Review Announcement, the PUSB–PUSC Training 2026 Recap, and the BoD Forum Recap. In addition, the Internal Affairs sub-bureau is planning the Christmas and New Year celebrations and is also working on the cleaning schedule for the PUSC Container and Varsity installment for all PUSC members. Lastly, the Website Developer sub-bureau is planning several adjustments to tools on the PUSC website.
Commission I presented their event progress report, which covered Campus Compass, a collaborative event between the President University Student Senate and senates from other universities aimed at supporting organizational development through benchmarking, as well as INNOVERSE 2026, an annual event that promotes research awareness, innovation, and confident idea exchange through interactive academic activities. In addition, Commission I conducted a questionnaire to gather insights on event management and campus support for students’ personal development, serving as part of Research Number 1 of 2026. Moving forward, Commission I will conduct a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and interviews as the next stages of Research Number 1 of 2026.
Commission II reported that they received a total of 270+ aspirations from students. These aspirations have been distributed to the relevant campus management and categorized based on their level of urgency. Commission II emphasized that they will soon publish an aspiration feedback report as a form of transparency, ensuring that students are informed about how their aspirations are being documented and addressed.
Commission III which focuses on drafting legal products, have finalized Decree Number 2 regarding PUSB Work Program Approval and Decree Number 3 regarding Member Resignation. In addition, Commission III stated that a Pre-Enactment Review will be conducted for Regulation Number 3 regarding President University Student Organizations to ensure its clarity, compliance, and effectiveness before its official implementation.
Commission IV, whose role is to serve as a supervisory body, has been overseeing several major events. To begin with, Mr. Farrel Kautsar presented his supervision updates on CULFEST 2025, Mr. & Ms. President University 2026, and INTERACT 2026. Following this, Ms. Marchelle Vicky Angelie shared updates regarding BCA 2026. Subsequently, Ms. Salwa Tsuraya Bilqisty reported on the progress of PYLC 2026. Alongside this, Ms. Syahla Madina informed the supervision progress of the GoH 2026. Moving Forward, Commission IV plans to revise the templates for Supervisor Reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to improve evaluation consistency.
The 4th Plenary Meeting was brought to a close with a presentation by the Board of Directors, followed by a session of aspiration remarks from the Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons as a form of appreciation for every Commission and Internal Bureau that continued to work diligently despite the holiday period.
In summary, this Plenary Meeting was held to strengthen coordination and ensure clear understanding of each PUSC division’s work plans, especially among PUSC 2026 members. Lastly, a monthly awarding session was conducted as a token of appreciation to recognize the dedication and hard work of PUSC members. This initiative aims to encourage members to continuously strive for excellence in fulfilling their responsibilities and actively contributing to organizational goals. The awarding highlighted the most outstanding Commission/Internal Bureau, the most outstanding Head of Commission/Internal Bureau, and the most outstanding members of PUSC 2026 for the January edition.
