PUSC 2026 7th Plenary Meeting: Moving Forward in Unity
Cikarang, April 16, 2026 - On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the President University Student Council (PUSC) 2026 conducted its seventh Plenary Meeting at the Charles Himawan Auditorium of President University. This Plenary Meeting serves as a monthly forum to review and discuss the progress of the Board of Directors, each Commission, and the Internal Bureau, including their divisional progress updates and the challenges encountered, followed by reports on ongoing PUSC work plan currently being carried out. This Plenary Meeting was attended by PUSC 2026 members.
The session commenced with opening remarks delivered by Ms. Bilqis Aisya Nuri as the Chairperson of PUSC 2026, followed by the formal reading of the Plenary Meeting regulations. The attendees then proceeded to sing Indonesia Raya and the President University March. Following this, presentations were given by the Board of Directors, each Commission, and the Internal Bureau, highlighting the progress of their work plans, the challenges they faced, and their proposed next steps. The meeting was closed by an event report given by the respective Project Managers, Vice Project Managers, and Supervisors of ongoing PUSC 2026 events.
The presentations were opened by the Internal Bureau and their work plan progress updates. The Head of Internal Bureau mentioned how in the last several weeks she has signed several MoU indicating that PUSC's media partnerships are now actively underway. In addition to managing media partners, the Public Relations team is also working on PUSC 2026's video profile and overseeing PUSC 2026's social media platforms. The Graphic Designer is currently working on making the visual design for the products from each commission while the Website Developers are continuously updating the website of PUSC 2026's latest products, starting from the Aspiration Feedback Report by Commission II to the recent regulations made by Commission III. Meanwhile the Internal Affairs is working on the PUSC varsity and reported that they have successfully conducted the second bonding of PUSC 2026.
After the Internal Bureau's presentation, Commission II took the floor. Commission II elaborated that they have compiled all the aspirations and had created the Aspiration Report from the Head of Student Organization Forum I 2026. Moreover, they are currently waiting on the management for the presentation of said Aspiration Report and to ask for the improvement that will be provided by the management. Lastly, they revealed that PUSC Pay Attention 2 will be conducted on May 3 – May 17, 2026.
Following Commission II was Commission IV. Commission IV gave updates regarding the events from PUSB 2026 that they are currently supervising, including the Communication Forum, Mr. & Ms. President University 2026, Grand of Hopes (GOH), President University Sports Tournament (PUST) 2026, Interactive Communication Training (INTERACT) 2026, President Youth Leadership Camp (PYLC), Cultural Festival (CULFEST) 2026. In accordance with their standard practice, Commission IV supervised Big Meetings, committee interviews, and Grand Rehearsals to ensure the event would be executed smoothly.
Subsequently, Commission III gave their progress updates on the enacted and ongoing legal products. Recently, they have enacted Rules of Election Information Forum and Regulation Number 4 Year 2026 Regarding President University General Election. Whereas for Constitution and ByLaws and Rules of Management Forum are currently undertaking as their ongoing legal products.
After Commission III, Commission I presented their progress updates on ongoing research activities and outputs. Over the last month, they conducted several key meetings, including the Second Regular Research Meeting on March 11, 2026, as well as multiple consultation sessions with the Consultation Bureau, Student Affairs, the Library, Lembaga Riset dan Pengabdian Masyarakat President University, Code of Ethics, Mr. Mohammad Shihab as the Head of Publishing and Prof. Jhanghiz Syahrivar to strengthen the quality and direction of their research. In terms of deliverables, they completed data processing from questionnaire results and FGD findings, developed data visualizations, and carried out continuous revisions and finalizations of Research Number 1 of 2026 across Chapters I–IV, culminating in the completion of its final draft on April 14, 2026. Additionally, they finalized the Research Feedback Report Number 2 Year 2025 and initiated coordination efforts for research publication, journal mechanisms, and campus repository archiving. Moving forward, Commission I plans to continue consultations with relevant stakeholders, further refine ongoing research outputs, and coordinate publication processes.
The last presentation of the night was delivered by the Board of Directors. The presentation was opened by the Chairperson of PUSC 2026, Ms. Bilqis Aisya Nuri who was giving updates about the meetings that both her and the Vice Chairperson I attended over the last month. As an additional note, Mr. Ahmad Fikri Alfatah, serving as Vice Chairperson I, informed attendees of a new initiative in which Plenary Meeting preparations will be carried out by each Commission on a rotating basis according to a set schedule. He also conveyed information regarding invitations to various events at President University that require PUSC 2026 representation. In this regard, he encouraged all members to actively participate as representatives, emphasizing that such opportunities are open not only to the Chairperson, Vice Chairpersons, or Board of Executive, but to all members of PUSC 2026.
Overall, the 7th Plenary Meeting of PUSC 2026 functioned as a productive platform for synchronizing developments, responding to issues, and reaffirming shared objectives across the Commissions, Internal Bureau, and Board of Directors. With improved coordination and a well-defined direction, PUSC 2026 is well-positioned to proceed into the upcoming phase of its work. To close the session, a monthly recognition segment was held to honor the outstanding Commission or Internal Bureau, the most outstanding Head of Commission or Internal Bureau, and the most outstanding members of PUSC 2026 for the April period.
