PUSC 2026 9th Plenary Meeting

Cikarang, June 18, 2026 - On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the President University Student Council (PUSC) 2026 conducted its ninth Plenary Meeting at the Charles Himawan Auditorium of President University. This Plenary Meeting functions as a monthly platform to evaluate and deliberate on the progress made by the Board of Directors, each Commission, as well as the Internal Bureau, covering their respective divisional updates and the obstacles they have encountered, followed by an event report on PUSC 2026's work plans that are currently in progress. The meeting was attended by the members of PUSC 2026.

The session began with opening remarks from Ms. Bilqis Aisya Nuri, Chairperson of PUSC 2026, followed by a formal reading of the rules governing the Plenary Meeting. All attendees then sang Indonesia Raya and the President University March. Afterward, the Board of Directors, each Commission, and the Internal Bureau delivered presentations outlining their work plan progress, the challenges they had encountered, and their planned next steps. The session concluded with an event report presented by the respective Project Managers, Vice Project Managers, and Supervisors overseeing PUSC 2026's ongoing events.

The presentations were opened by the Internal Bureau and their work plan progress updates. The Public Relations team has been actively managing PUSC's social media platforms, media partnerships, and several upcoming content productions. The Graphic Designer continues to create visual designs for PUSC's various needs, while the Website Developers have been keeping the website up to date with PUSC 2026's latest products. Meanwhile, the Internal Affairs team reported on their ongoing preparations for internal matters, including the much-anticipated PUSC 2026 Farewell, and distributed the PUSC 2026 varsity to members at the end of the plenary meeting.

After the Internal Bureau, Commission II took the floor and reported on the progress of their ongoing aspiration-collection campaign, PUSC PAY ATTENTION 2, which has been receiving an encouraging number of responses. They are currently in the process of sorting through the collected aspirations and coordinating with the relevant parties for further follow-up.

Following Commission II was Commission III, who shared updates on their supervision of PUGE 2027 and their ongoing legal drafting activities. Their most recently enacted legal product is the Rules of Public Debate, with several other legal products currently still in progress.

Subsequently, Commission IV gave updates on the PUSB 2026 events they are supervising, with several events having been successfully concluded and a number of others still currently ongoing. Currently the ongoing events that Commission IV are supervising includes President University Sports Tournament (PUST) 2026, Communication Forum II 2026, Interactive Communication Training (INTERACT) 2026, President Youth Leadership Camp (PYLC) 2026 and Cultural Festival 2026.

After Commission IV, Commission I presented their progress on PUSC 2026's research activities. First of all, they reported how they have successfully conducted Campus Compass 2026 in collaboration with DKBM UMN of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara on May 9 2026. Meanwhile, Research Number 1 of 2026 regarding The Role of Event Management and University Support in Student Personal Development has been finalized and presented to the relevant bureaus, with its publication and accompanying Research Feedback Report currently being prepared. In parallel, Research Number 2 of 2026 regarding Students' Online Scam Awareness through a Digital Literacy Program to Strengthen Critical and Ethical Thinking at President University is currently underway, having successfully reached its minimum respondent target with data processing now in progress.

The last presentation of the night was delivered by the Board of Directors, who reported on the various meetings and organizational activities attended and conducted over the past weeks. The Secretary and Treasurer also gave brief updates on their respective administrative and financial responsibilities. After the Board of Directors did their presentation, they encouraged PUSC 2026 members that are from batch 2025 to enter the PUSC Regeneration for the upcoming period. The Chairperson gave a reminder to all to recognize their potential and to not waste it, as she and the committee await their applications.

As the final agenda, Project Managers and Vice Project Managers provided updates on all ongoing PUSC events. INNOVERSE 2026 reported efforts to increase participant engagement through open booth activities. President University General Election (PUGE) 2027 delivered their final event report, covering preparations for the upcoming Public Debate, Election Week, and Announcement Day. PUSC Regeneration 2027 announced the release of their committee reveal on PUSC's Instagram and has begun preparation for the regeneration proceedings. Grand Inauguration 2027 reported the completion of their first Big Meeting and is currently in the early stages of preparation for the October event.

Altogether, the 9th Plenary Meeting of PUSC 2026 functioned as a productive platform for synchronizing developments, responding to challenges, and reaffirming shared objectives across the Commissions, Internal Bureau, and Board of Directors. With ongoing research activities progressing steadily, active aspiration-collection efforts underway, and internal preparations for the PUSC 2026 Farewell on the horizon, PUSC 2026 continues to move forward with purpose and direction as it approaches the culminating phase of its journey.
