Pre-Enactment Review 2026: Building Consensus
President University, February 3, 2026 – On Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the President University Student Council (PUSC) successfully conducted the Pre-Enactment Review 2026. The agenda was attended by the President and Vice President of President University Student Board (PUSB), along with all Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons from the President University Faculty Association (PUFA) and President University Major Association (PUMA) 2026. This review aimed to ensure a shared understanding of the regulation while emphasizing inclusivity, transparency, and active participation in the decision-making process.
The agenda commenced with a documentation session, followed by greetings and the reading of the Rules of the Pre-Enactment Review 2026 by Ms. Bilqis Aisha Nuri, who served as the Chair of the agenda. The session continued with all participants singing the Indonesia Raya and the President University March. Upon the conclusion of the opening ceremony, the review officially began.
Subsequently, Commission III of PUSC 2026 presented a breakdown of Regulation Number 3 Year 2026 Regarding President University Student Organizations. The presentation was followed by a structured discussion session designed to uphold the principles of transparency and collective governance. During this session, participants were encouraged to express their responses, suggestions, and concerns, providing a constructive check and balance through questions and objections. This inclusive exchange ensured that the final regulation was not merely introduced, but collaboratively strengthened.
After an intensive discussion process, the agenda was formally closed by the Head of Commission III, Mr. Akmal Ihsan Nur Yaasiin. The session reflected a strong commitment from all parties to foster a governance system that prioritizes clarity and accountability.
This stage is vital as it serves as a final safeguard to ensure that the regulation is practical, fair, and applicable before being officially enacted. Through the Pre-Enactment Review, Regulation Number 3 Year 2026 was refined into a well-vetted framework built upon consensus. By gathering all relevant heads of student organizations in one forum, the process minimized potential loopholes and prevented future misunderstandings or conflicts among organizations.
Ultimately, the Pre-Enactment Review 2026 transformed a legal draft into a transparent and inclusive policy framework that genuinely reflects the needs and aspirations of the student body, reinforcing PUSC 2026’s commitment to responsible and participatory governance.
