Cikarang, July 13, 2026 – The President University Student Council (PUSC) 2026 opened the first day of PUSC Regeneration 2027 Training Days Phase 1 on July 12-13, 2026, at Movieland Campus, President University, Cikarang, West Java. The two-day Training Day Phase 1 was conducted to cultivate prospective leaders who are responsible, disciplined, and committed to their roles. Beyond introducing the organization, it aimed to develop attitudes and character that uphold awareness, resourcefulness, trustworthiness, initiative, and commitment; values that serve as essential foundations for the future of PUSC. The theme, “Passing the Torch,” reflects the spirit of continuity and renewal, passing on the values, dedication, and vision of PUSC from one generation to the next so that its mission may continue to grow stronger, and the tagline, “Embrace the Flame, Empower the Future,” calls upon every candidate to embrace this responsibility and become a driving force behind PUSC's future. The training brought together candidates who aspire to become the next generation of PUSC 2027 members.

The day began with an opening by the Master of Ceremonies, followed by the PUSC Regeneration 2027 tagline, prayer session, and introduction to the training rules. It continued with opening remarks from the Project Manager of PUSC Regeneration 2027, Ms. Stephanie Naila, and followed by the Chairperson of PUSC 2026, Ms. Bilqis Aisya Nuri. Candidates were then introduced to PUSC's structure, and role within the university through a General Explanation session by the Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, followed by presentations of Divisional Explanation from each division: the General Secretary and General Treasurer, Commissions I to IV, and the Internal Bureau.

The activities continued with the Alternating Station, a series of group challenges designed to test spontaneity, adaptability, critical thinking, and communication under time pressure. The candidates were divided into three groups; Willow, Maple, and Clover, and directed to their designated stations, where they moved through a series of challenges and scenarios. Within a limited time, they were encouraged to think on their feet, communicate clearly, and solve problems together with fellow candidates they were still getting to know.

The Alternating Station session marked the conclusion of the candidates' activities for the day. Following the session, the candidates proceeded to the next agenda, a briefing on the Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) scheduled for the second day, followed by an additional task for candidates who applied for Commission IV. The first day gave candidates a clearer picture of what PUSC does and what they will face in the next training day as future leaders.

The second day of the PUSC Regeneration 2027 Training Day Phase 1 took place on Monday, July 13, 2026, at Movieland Campus, President University. The evening began with opening remarks from the Project Manager of PUSC Regeneration 2027, Ms. Stephanie Naila alongside the Vice Chairperson of PUSC 2026, Mr. Ahmad Fikri Alfatah and the Advisor of PUSC, Dr. Donald Samuel Slamet Sentosa, S.Pd., M.M., M.Pd., D.Th.

After a briefing from the Event Organizer division, the three groups of candidates continued to discuss an assigned issue without a designated leader, called LGD. With the Substance division observing silently, candidates had to organize themselves, share ideas, and reach a shared conclusion, so leadership came from how they contributed rather than from a title.

Back in the main venue, each group presented the results of its discussion, with the order chosen by a spinning wheel. All three groups engaged actively in the discussion and delivered their presentations well, each bringing its own perspective to the same challenge.

The training then moved on to the Divisional Task Announcement, in which each division explained its responsibilities and answered candidates' questions, along with the announcement of the interview stage, the final part of the selection process. Interviews with management were set for July 14, 2026 followed by interviews with the Board of Executives on July 15 and 16 of 2026. The day concluded with a group documentation session, capturing the shared moments and experiences of the candidates, committee members, and PUSC representatives throughout the training.
